Stray Hearts Awarded Play Yard Grant from Petfinder Foundation

Stray Hearts is very pleased to announce that we have been awarded a grant from Petfinder Foundation to add more play yard space for the shelter dogs. The dogs will have daily access to room to run and play.

Stray Hearts Animal Shelter Receives Grant

 

Stray Hearts Animal Shelter, Angel Fire, has received a $4,822 Play Yard Renovation Grant from the Petfinder Foundation. The Petfinder Foundation Play Yard Renovation Grant is awarded to Petfinder members that have completed play-group training seminars conducted by Dogs Playing for Life.  Play Yard Renovation Grant funds must be used to construct or improve play yards to bring them into compliance with DPFL recommendations.  This grant program is part of our commitment to enhancing shelter dogs’ quality of life by allowing them to engage in natural social behaviors.
