Ways You Can Get Involved
Dog Walkers
Stray Hearts relies on volunteer dog walkers to provide our animals with regular human contact, physical exercise, and mental stimulation. Dog walker training is available to all volunteers.
Cat Socialization
Cats require human interaction to stay healthy and adoptable. Spend time with the cats and kittens and you will be instrumental in helping them get a forever home. This is a wonderful opportunity to include children 12 years or older.
Running Club
Hit the ground running with our dogs! This program pairs active volunteers with approved pups for fun, structured runs that burn energy and boost confidence.
Community Engagement and Outreach
Be the friendly face of Stray Hearts and help with fundraising and adoption events. Share our mission while connecting the community to volunteering and adoptable animals.
Enrichment Toy Creation
Get creative and make a difference! Help build toys and enrichment structures that keep our animals engaged, curious, and happy while they wait for their forever homes.
